Scott made the first move.
He brought his blade up and slashed downwards at my head. I sidestepped the attack, but he forsaw me doing this, and executed a backhanded slash in my direction.
The attack would slashed open my shoulder, but I jumped backwards before the blow landed.
I swung with the steel blade at Scott's legs, forcing him to jump upwards. I swung my ebony blade to where he should've been, be he had leaped backward, clear out of the length of my blade.
"Good move." he commented.
I snarled at him and charged at him. This took him by surprise. He had expected me to lash out with some sword attack that he could block and then attack me from there. But when I charged at him, I destroyed those hopes.
I shouldered him in the gut, and flipped him over my shoulder. He landed hard on his back, knocking the wind from his lungs. I turned quickly and brought my ebony blade crashing down towards him. He managed to roll out of the way in time, and brought up his sword to block the attack that I launched with the steel blade.
I saw him smirk. He thought he was winning, but I had the advantage over him. I wouldn't get tired, and I could keep fighting well after he was rotting in the earth.
"Time to fight unfairly." I said silently to myself.
I held his blade in place with my steel blade, and booted him in the ribs several times. I continued until he had to roll.
When he did, I backed away, allowing him to stand. I charged at him again. Although he was expecting it, he was still tired from the last physical attack I had dealt him.
I gave him an elbow to his face, and I felt his nose break. Blood streamed down his face from the broken nose, and he staggered backwards.
I swung both of my blades, creating an "X" on his breastplate. He continued to stagger backwards, before he tumbled to the ground. He managed to get up again before I could attack him with my blades.
I grew tired ot chasing after him, so I threw the steel blade like a spear, with enough force that it pierced through the armour protecting his gut, and passed through his back.
He fell backwards onto the ground, and I stood over him with my ebony bladed sword held tightly in my hand.
"Goodbye Scott." I said before I brought my blade crashing down on his neck. The blade passed through flesh and bone, and beheaded him in a quick spray of blood.
I turned around to the battle raging behind me, and saw the vampire wings of the army fighting and killing the guards.
The battle raged on for a good hour after Scott had died. Almost all of our troops were slain, and the vampire wings were still at full strength.
Our forces had to regroup after the first fifteen minutes of fighting, during which we lost many troops. The guards ran at us in a loose line, and we drove a cone shaped formation through their defences.
This decimated their forces, and we killed them all soon afterwards.
When the battle was won, and the survivors of the guards were fleeing the field, Kathleen came to me, covered in blood and weilding her blood covered blade. I wiped my sword free of blood, and she did as well.
I kissed her, and we stood on the body strewn field in each other's arms.
"We must prepare." I said silently. She looked up into my eyes.
"Prepare for what?" she asked. I kissed her again before answering.
"The VampireHuman War has begun." I replied darkly.
