Listening to: o little town of bethlehem
mood:giving
this might be short, i am going to midnight service at my old church (family's church), the one that i am confirmed at. today was alright, i got a lot of presents, which was awesome. i just dont want to get caught up in the wrong meaning of christmas. i donated like 100 dollars to the heffer (sp?) project, which is where if you donate money they will give farm animals to needy families or something. i just told my parents to donate 100 dollars to a charity in my name, and they picked. i was expecting the salvation army but i guess a flock of chickens is a good gift to a family that is starving?
its all ok, im just telling myself that anything out of the ordinary i see is all in my mind, an overactive imagination.
in the spirit of christmas...
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
-Isaiah 9:6
But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.
-Luke 2:10-11
everyone have a merry christmas, hanukkah, kwanzaa, or whatever else you celebrate, and i hope you get what you are looking for...and i dont mean material objects.
i love you
-becca
