Listening to: lostprophets-last train home
nevermind the last entry. tiredness, thats what that was.
now the forcast, (supposedly, my sources arent so great, they are the mouth of my 13 year old brother) either tonight or tomorrow night, i cant remember (praying its tomorrow night) is, 8-10 INCHES. that HAS GOT to be the biggest snow storm the st. louis area has had in years. without a doubt. unless the weatherman is wrong and it all gets springfeild and we dont get much at all, which is what usually happens. :(
well, i had a lot of fun last night, cleaning my room with him, i cleaned a lot before he got here but after he got here he did most of the cleaning, i was too worn out to do anything else. hes coming over again tonight, and bringing his swimsuit.
if the hottub isnt working im going to kill someone.
i think he has succeeded in becoming my brother's new idol. he drove me and brett up to quik trip last night and paid for candy. and then he watched children of the corn with my brother and his friend, and me of course. i really dont know how he puts up with him.
at least the whole family likes him. what more can i ask for? :)
things are going great. my party is tonight. hopefully 20 people i dont know dont come all fucked up and bring weed and beer this time. my parents werent happy about that. haha
when i am with you, i get my dreams and my reality confused.
and thats a good thing.

that poem, i ended up doing a madlib poem, which is easy, right? no, it isnt. you put in random words, but it has to make sense and have poetic meaning. i couldnt find my packet when i got to school, so i thought i was screwed, but i found it IN CLASS. so i wrote this stupid madlib poem in class, and i still got it marked off. after reading it without the lines there is some actual symbolism there, it just is a sucky poem overall. ill put it on here for a laugh.
After all the rain, the despair of ground they walk on is the despair
in themselves.
But before they can judge,
they have to wait for the sun,
who is always
shining. Only then
can they tend the million
roses that blow kisses and smile, which are
the great happiness of lovers
and not, as some people still believe, the vanity and the thorn.
haha, that poem cracks me up.
i guess if you look real deep inside it, you can see some symbolism? or maybe thats my false hope.
