Today was extremely cold but after the trip out to the Wildlife Center and Martel Center, the cold became nothing. True I didn't see any of the forcasted snow, but it was amazing. I have always wanted to be a in a place of nature like the photos we see. I found it. At the Martel Center, the pond is amazing and is so perfect. I could spend the entire day sitting on top of the dam staring into the pond or walking the trails through the Martel Center. I was in heaven today. It was the first time I actually caught a glimpse of my paradise. Of course some of the boys in my group were being silly. I've got this nickname. My favorite Star Trek character really. Travis calls me Spock and Casey kinda didn't like it so Travis quit of course. I didn't mind. It was just a new name for me. Anyways, we road in style to and from the centers. The Ag department chartered a bus to take us around and we were even dropped off close to our dorms. To make things better, I was online looking around and found my dad's all time wishful gift. I got it immediately and can't wait to give it to him for Christmas. He had given up hope on getting one of these babies. I also purchased Beth's gift and located my mom's. I just have to buy it and find out what my friends would like. I'm in a really good mood and that's awesome considering monday is the beginning of my exam hell. -Paula-
