Listening to: The Bears-NBC ESPN
Feeling: inpain
The weekend didn't start out great but it looks to be ending on a good note. I wanted to go corn mazing Friday night but no one was up to it, so I didn't go. It isn't fun by yourself and they won't let you go out into 18 acres of corn at dark by yourself anyways. When I heard I was going to attend a concert last night alone, I packed my back and went home Friday night. Of course that is when things got better.
I wasn't even inside for two minutes before I was pounced by Molly. She wouldn't leave me alone, constantly jumping and licking. We played with her rope in a bone toy for a long time before she finally wore out. Watched Numbers and went to bed.
Yesterday started with helping Dad set up his new mitar saw on a rolling table. Then I spent the morning reading "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies". After lunch I hit the tanning bed at Electric Beach and added color to my returning tan. The afternoon was spent mowing and sweeping the lawn with our cub cadet. After dinner I was suppose to go to see Darling Waste at Amelio's but I felt like crap.
I was coughing and felt flushed so I had to miss an amazing concert. Got cold medicine in me, read more of my book, and watched Dogs 101 on Animal Planet. Went to bed at 10:30 and slept all night until 5:55 am. Rolled over and slept until 7am.
After a good breakfast, I did my laundry and studied for some exams this week. Took a shower and helped with lunch. After lunch I came back to school and got all homework done for tomorrow. Now I'm watching the end of the Bears and Falcons game, not really certain if Chicago is gonna get it. If they do it will be a miracle.
The major highlight of the weekend was Purdue beating Ohio State. That was not foreseen at all. We expected total annihilation. Instead, we beat them by 8 pts and Ross-Ade Stadium was flooded with black t-shirts and crazed fans. It was a big day in West Lafayette.
