I had to get up early this morning to lay claim on the room I will have for next year. I am holding this room first and then if something opens up Sat. morning in Wood or Duhme hall, I'll take it. Of course it mostly likely wouldn't be on first floor but I can live with that. I am on first floor now to save my back but that didn't work since my back is still spasming and completely sore. I'm suppose to see a pain management doctor in Lafayette as soon as they can fit me in. We may be looking at cortisone shots into my back. If that happens, it was nice living while I did. One shot into my back will kill me. I promise you. If I can't touch it, what makes other people think they can stick a needle in it? I wonder who came up with the idea of sticking a stupid needle into a painful region of the body just to put 90 % of the steroid in the specific spot? I guarantee you they never knew back pain.
