The day was long yesterday at the competition. No placing in the morning session. Had lunch with the family. Went back to competition. Switched partners for afternoon session. International Latin started and everything changed. Brian and I placed in the finals for both the cha-cha and the jive. We took 6th place in the cha-cha. When they read off the jive results we weren't ready. We took first! I about died. We had beaten out the bronze and silver couples that were dancing down. It was amazing. After those awards, they announced who made the Disney squad. Alas, I did not but that is okay. I did want to go but I can watch the parade on Christmas to enjoy watching my friends dance down there. I am still riding off the winnings yesterday. I'm so tired but so giddy about it. Today is a list of things to do, but luckily I get the morning to relax before diving into them.
