Listening to: Whos Got My Back?-Creed
Feeling: old
I have crap loads of homework that is due this week that I have to get working on. I would have started it in the hour I've been back in my dorm room, but I have a dinner party for work in about half an hour so there really is no point to even attempt trying to read for English or History or work on my botany homework.
This weekend was the Girl Scouts of Tribal Trails Titanic Gala. Mom and I went and it was rather interesting. The sheriff of Howard County gave the lecture and interesting facts on the Titanic. The purpose for this gala was to serve as a fund raiser for the Council. It worked out that this is the 95 years anniversary for the GS and yesterday was the 95th anniversary of when Titanic struck the iceberg. We enjoyed a good meal and listened to a modern day "Titanic Band". The evening was nice, I can say that for sure.
The time at home was short but okay. I got home and was through with errands around 5:30. I had dinner with the parents and then they left for Ball State. I cleaned all three yards so Dad could mow yesterday morning. Afterwards, I watched Air Force One and Numbers while sharing the couch with Haley. Afterwards, everyone moved upstairs for the night and I watched Who's Line is It Anyways and Parts of Stargate-SG1. Mom and Dad got in after midnight and we all went to bed. Yesterday was grocery shopping and birthday shopping for Beth. Then the Titanic Gala rolled around and we drove to Kokomo in the stupid snow storm that hit earlier in the afternoon.
Today has gone by too fast for me. I really wanted to enjoy the weekend at home, but that didn't happen. Now it's time to get ready for the dinner party. Yeah...

Run...hide
All that was sacred to us
Sacred to us
See the signs
The covenant has been broken
By mankind
Leaving us with no shoulder...with no shoulder
To rest our head on
To rest our head on
To rest our head on
Who's got my back now?
When all we have left is deceptive
So disconnected
So what is the truth now?
There's still time
All that has been devastated
Can be recreated
Realize
We pick up the broken pieces
Of our lives
Giving ourselves to each other...ourselves to each other
To rest our head on
To rest our head on
To rest our head on
Who's got my back now?
When all we have left is deceptive
So disconnected
So what is the truth now?
Tell me the truth now...Tell us the truth now
Who's got my back now?
When all we have left is deceptive
So disconnected
So what is the truth now?
