Teresa made me think about something. If I get married when I am older, I don't want to get divorced. It's just something that sends shivers down my spine. I'm not sure why, and I'm not saying that everyone who has a divorce is to blame for it, because I know that's not true in any way.
The institute of marriage is breaking down, and I think it's partly to do with people getting married more casually. Because people see divorce as a "normal" thing to do, whereas as before people would only divorce their spouse if something was seriously wrong. So rather than thinking it's a lifelong commitment, they just think that they can get out of it if it goes wrong.
I don't know what really made me think so much about this. And in a way I don't agree with myself. Which is kind of strange and not really explainable.
but thats purely for selfish reasons.

By no means should you try to down your loss and compare it to mine, doll. Anyone's death is hard to deal with and its devestating regardless of who it is in someones life. Take care of your needs, doll.

the divorce rate scares me.
But then again, I'm an anti-trend and I'd hate to do anything that more than 50% of the population does...
and right now in some places divorce rates are at 60%...
so i'll be good. ;)

the norm?
trends?
because i hate to break it to you, but it's already been started.
But i'm all for a rebellion against marriage without life commitment.
