So, one of the things I was looking forward to this summer has been severely hampered. I was really looking forward to going to Rustic Robot with my youngest sister Sarah, but she's decided to go camping with her church instead. So she's ditching out on a massive rave, her big brother, and her best friend, to go camping. Neither me nor McKenzie is very happy about this... but whatever works for her I suppose. To compound it though, Kenzie is so disappointed that she's not 100% sure that she wants to go anymore.... which REALLY kills my excitement for the event. I was really excited to spend that night with McKenzie. Without her there, I'll still have a good time, but it won't be quite as good without that pretty lady beside me for the night.

From talking with McKenzie, I think she'll still come. She's just extremely disappointed that she won't get to party with her best friend for the last time before they move to separate ends of the country for their universities like she expected to. But once that disappointment calms down... I think she'll realize that she still wants to go to the event, whether or not Sarah is ther. The advice I gave her was to forget about everybody else, forget about all the pressure and expectations or any outside influence... just think about what she wants to do. And then she should do that.

We'll see how it pans out.
