Feeling: cavalier
"It's not the flowers, wrapped in fancy paper-
It's not the ring, I wear around my finger.
There's nothing in all the world I need when I have you beside me, here beside me.
So you could give me wings to fly, and catch me if I fall.
Or pull the stars down from the sky, so I could wish on them all.
But I couldnt' ask for me, 'cause your love is the greatest gift of all."
I've liked this song since the first time I've heard it (which was years ago) and all of a sudden it's playing on the radio, which is awesome. So yea, I put it up for a reason, but I'm sure you can figure out why it's up there; anyone who's on the pirate ship knows what I'm talking about.
At any rate, I've decided that I'm just going to make this a weekday diary and not write anything on the weekends just because. So this weekend I went to go see LOTR: Return of the King. for those of you out there who want to go see it, I recommend that you go and see it. It's three and a half hours long, but it's worth the price of admission. I personally give it a 4.43 our of a possible five. The only reaosn I deduct the rest was because I found that the ending was too long-winded. It seemed like they couldn't decide on how to end it so they took a bunch of suggetions on how to end it and threw them together with a few fade ins/outs. The oddest and most unnecessary ending was the one where Frodo was lying down in the bed and they all come in to see him and stand around. But whatever, they're still going to make their money either way but I guess I ought to stop talking about it because I'm sure there are a few of you out there if not a lot who want to go and see it.
So besides seeing the movie, my weekend was pretty boring, didn't do much except make a lot of progress in a certain part of my life. She's really a great person, wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life with her, but I don't want to harp on that too much for fear of scaring her off. What else happened this weekend? Wait, why am I asking you, I'm the one telling the story here. Well last night I stayed up until about 1:45 Am because I was talking with one of my friends on the phone. But then I had to let her go because today's going to be a long day for both of us because we've both got to bake an attend a soiree (that's french) which starts in the afternoon and will go until night-time. No worries though, I'll be a good boy; no alcohol for the Captain today. So anyway, after I got off the telephone with my amigo, I stayed up for another sixty-ish minutes just thinking about things, people, situations, people... a certain person.
So yes, that was my weekend; it appeared pretty uneventful but I walked away from it feeling very achieved, Couldn't have asked for better. Perhaps I should change the mood up there. Naw, I am also feeling Cavalier-ish. Probably has to do with the fact that I watched one of my Bonds this morning. That's right, I watched DAD (Die Another Day). I've noticed that all of the Bonds have Acronyms becuase the titles are not only catchy but they're whole phrases. But like I was saying, I'm a big fan of Bond (no comments from the peanut gallery) I know he's a womanizer but that's just one down side to him, he's really worldly, and knowledgeable and a lot of other good things but the only thing I don't like about him is that because of his job he never found true love. That is, unless you count OHMSS, where he did get married but that was such a poorly done film that I barely count it. Like I was saying though, that's the only thing I don't like about his life - other then that the gun-play, clinches, explosions, betrayal, conspiracies and all of the other good stuff is pretty cool. Highly unrealistic, but cool nonetheless. That's just me though, I'm sure that there are a host of people out there who either hate Bond, love MI (Mission Impossible) or just detest all spy movies genre all together. So go ahead and leave a comment bashing it if you want, I welcome it wholeheartedly.
That's about if for me, You'll have to excuse me for I must attend to saving the world to impress m'lady. I've been putting it off for much too long now.
"You Could offer me the Sun, the Moon-
And I would still believe;
You gave me everything when you gave your heart to me.
Well I couldn't ask for more, 'cause your love is the greatest gift of all."
A Bien Tot,
