Listening to: Four Seasons- December, 63
Holy late entry batman,
So it's around 9 and I know what you're thinking - that's not late, I'm always up around 9ish. Well sorry folks, but by nine o'clock I'm almost in bed, though truth be known, I don't fall asleep until around 11ish. Bloody body and all of it's downfalls. Downfalls, I used that word more then thrice in my annotated bibliographies today. Had to come up with a load of crock to satisfy my teacher or tomorrow. So yea, I've got about another ten minutes to write a half decent journal entry because I realize that it's been lacking for over the duration of the past week. Kinda crazy how I just hit this stumbling block when it came to my writing but I guess we all experience these kinds of things; even plain ol' me.
So what to talk about, oh what to say - it's the topic of the day. I got this oldish song going in the background, I was emailing a friend of mine and then it just popped into my head so I ran upstairs and dug under my billy joel and elton john cds and pulled out a mix of these oldish songs with this one on it. It's even got "God bless you please, Mrs Robinson, Jesus holds a place for those who wait, hey hey hey, hey hey hey..." Great tune, though I'd never want to know a mrs. Robinson (ewww - damn cougars.) What can you do though- you'll have to let bygones be bygones and just "Let it be, Let it be, Let it be, Let it be - singing words of wisom, let it be (dun dun dun)." Great tunes from that past that'll never be redone properly... well, that is, unless you count Clapton's and mcCartney's new version of "while my guitar..." that was good. I enjoyed it.
At any rate, I'll spare you the history lesson and be jettin' out of here so you "take care of yourself, and each other."
Signed,
