Lessons In Bad Timing

Feeling: betrayed
This is another one of those, I did something minor that someone took too major entries. Yeah, I'm not performing in this Century of Song performance anymore... and I guess for the right reasons. Wait, no. Yeah, there's really no plausable reason I got kicked out of it. Here's the situation I was in, try and understand the logic here. I go to work Sunday to find out that I have work on Monday and Thursday (days I specifically requested off for the performance)... so I start frantically making replacement shift phonecalls all the way up to about 1pm yesterday afternoon. I don't find anyone, so my choice here is... tell Mrs. T (my choir teacher) that I can't make it, 15 minutes after she told us we had to have excuses to not be there by 8:15 that morning, get kicked out in the process or... get someone to fill in for you in the rehearsal, go to work, apologize later if necessary. But apparently I was supposed to go with the first, and "...take it like a man" when my punishment would be inevitable public humiliation in front of 90+ friends. I just couldn't handle what Mrs. T did at the actual rehearsal itself, she actually had the guts to call my mother and scold her for a good five minutes... first off, my mom does more for the choir department than Mrs. T knows what to do with, and second off, the woman is my mother... you just don't do that. And apparently this woman, "Isn't responsible" for her actions when she's emotional or mad. My only question in that is, if she's not responsible, who is? All fake definitions aside, I'm going to be a man about this, I'm going to apologize to all the groups I let down, and I'm not going to let her (or her completely childish attitude) phase me. That's all I've got to say guys. Have a great night.

Aww, you sing?

Thats cute.
Hey Davie, you didn't let anyone down. I am really sorry that Mrs. T wouldn't let you play, I think it is so lame. I love ya Davie, you are my hero!
