The new "Old World"

I was watching TV the other night (shock, right?) and something hit me. I'm obsessed with this sort of futuristic fantasy crap. I think I've outgrown the medieval stuff, so now I've got my eyes on the adventures of the future. And you know, it got me thinking, I had a great idea for something of the sort a while back... I dug out Youngings In An Old World--the newest version with the three different planets; Ashna, Telsim, and Emoh. I've decided to strike Teague/Treague all together and replace him with a female character I am already in love with. Her name is in the air right now, but I'm leaning towards Talbot because I think it suits here and it's an extremely uncommon name. So I'm working on some major re-writing and re-thinking and very excited about it. I just wish I had more time. The other drain of time is something else I'm working hard on, but I'll mention more about that when the occassion comes. Softball ends tomorrow- last game vs. Chaparrel at home and you all should be there. I'm so excited it's ending. Isn't that funny? I want it to end. Hm. Tonight was the poetry reading at Barnes and Noble. That was fun. Our school is a wonderful blend of fine poets and...not so fine poets. AKA: People who like to write down how miserable their lives are and use the enter key a lot to make it LOOK like a poem. Oh well. Snaps for the effort. But we do have some amazing poets. *Cough* Kimberly Olsen *Cough*. Where was I? Ok, well it's ten and I've been dog tired lately so i guess I shall retire. PS- Cody got his summer haircut the other day; they buzzed him. I call him Stick Dog now. Carrie
