I Wanna Be A Producer

Unusually day. Woke up to, well, a displeasing morning and was actually happy to go right to work. Spent my day there, 11 to 6:30, then spent some money there, then ran. K and I enjoyed another meal from the B&W Bear, hung around DR for a while and then went to his sister's house to hang out with Kristen and Nick. All in all it was a good time. On the way home traffice was fine, but i swear I got sideswiped because something just hit me; a conversion, really. I'm transforming that novel I was talking about, the one with the magazine, into a play and with any luck I can convince T to perform it next year. I would really, really like that because some of the students are so perfect for the characters. I already have three female roles set in my mind. Writing and producing a show for Saguaro was a goal since day one but I just never had the time or the idea. But if I work this out right, if I put enough energy and committment into it to have it completed by the end of summer, I think I can do it. My only disappointment is that it would work out as such a fun musical, but I can't possibly put a book to this. Anyways, the ideas were spilling from me in such a rush that I've hardly been able to catch them all. It's really been too much because I don't yet have a solid foundation for what the story is, but I'm sure it will develope its self. Gabby, I have the absolute perfect part for you and I am so excited to write it. Carrie
