The never ending process

Big, exciting weekend....exhausting, really. After that long and awesome party, Saturday was clean-out-the-garage-day! Yippee! Lots of moving stuff, throwing out stuff, bagging stuff, sweeping dust, eating dust, moving stuff, cleaning stuff, eating dust...Kris and I had to take two trips to that awful storage unit where we kept up the order of things by simply throwing and stuffing decorations in. The day was long and tiresome. That night we went to a movie--Fun with Dick and Jane; not good--and promptly crashed (at least I did). Today we got up, went to church, went to a very long lunch, played bball with Kroy, went back to my house, and then wow. The dining room had been painted yellow-gold. It was, in a word, AWFUL. Our house is pink. Pastelly pink with light tones and tasteful (however very out of style) colors. And now our dining room was yellow with flowery drapes. ICK. So after a lot of bickering and argumentation, Kris and I were sent to Home Depot to pick out paint--nerveracking, honestly. We look for paint: it can't be too pink, too white, or too brown, not too orange, either. Oh, brother. Finally we decide on a paint and hurry home. No one's thrilled. "It's white" they say. "It's tusk tusk!" we argue. We leave to WalMart to get bike tubes for my bike, we come back and now dad has decided he needs our help. SO we dive right in; the dining room, the living room, the den, the kitchen, the hallway, the stairs and you know what? Mom raved at least a dozen times how much she loved the color. -.- K and I high-fived. Anyway, it's now qaurter after ten, we've called it quits for the night, "the people" are coming on Tuesday to video the house, we all have work tomorrow, and that's that. It's been a very long, exhausting weekend. This whole moving-out process just never ends. Carrie
