What a pain

The other night I met up with Kristen and Nick and got my computer back, thankfully. Nick found the problem in one of the anti-virus software programs required by ASU to connect to the internet; apparantly it doesn't digest well with my computer and causes all sorts of problems, as has been recorded with many other schools. So I have a computer, but am still without internet, and without my printer because I have to get online to find the software for it, so I am still relying on this damned computer lab. Though I can't print here either because I don't have sundollars...pain in the rear, let me tell you. I've got to call an ASU tech guy to take a look at my computer and see what they can do. Speaking of pains, mine has gotten worse. I've been having that shoulder problem for over a week now. It comes and goes, mostly comes at night, but last night it was accompanied by what I thought was a stomach ache. 3am woke me with horrible pains in my shoulder and stomach so that I could hardly move without feeling like I was going to cut out a lung or a vein. It made falling back to sleep very difficult. It's the strangest thing really and I can't blame it on muscles because a) I haven't done anything extrenous in several days now and b) the pain feels more internal than muscles. It's lessened now but still very apparant to me as I breathe. I wouldn't normally be concerned about things like this, but since it's been a continuing problem, I think I'm going to make a real effort to see my doctor this weekend. I have auditions tonight for some plays and I am not at all prepared. I have to recite two monologues and I don't even know which ones I am doing yet. Knowing me, I'll be memorizing them two minutes before my audition. It would be nice to be prepared though. It's just so hard to find them, especially when I have to be in the computer lab to do it. There's usually a line to get a computer. I just wish I could get this resolved completely. In good news, the repair guys came yesterday and fixed our shower head so we can actually get hot water now. So that was nice. Anyway, Kris comes home today and I'm hoping I'll get to spend time with him tonight. No plans for Saturday, Sunday we're going to Church in the morning and celebrating Kroy's birthday later on. FYI: It's grandparent's day next week so for all you loving children out there, you might want to hop over to Halmark and tell your grandfolks you care. That's all, love to all, Carrie
