Greetings, oh, 5!

*clears throat-Ahem* HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Don't know about anyone else, but that was the best new years I've ever had. My new years eve is always pretty crappy. I spent the last two with Nikki, watching movies and casually popping into pathetic rp rooms for old times sake. But the party this year (last year?) was pretty grand and contained minimal drama! So yay for that. Went to church this morning with the Millers...then to lunch with them and was happily greeted by Amy, who happened to be working today. That was an amusing time. You know I thought I had a lot to say, but I guess I don't. Oh, here we go: I came up with my new years resolution. Actually it only came to me but two minutes ago. I am, in the year 2005, making a trip out of this state. It might be too much to declare that I'll make the trip across the ocean, but I sure as hell wouldn't mind a drop-off in the Big Apple. I'm actually really pissed about Europe right now. See, most of my friends have been there and the more I hear about, the more pictures I see, well the less excited I get about it. I really don't want to hear about someone else's trip. I feel almost cheated. I mean, yeah I'm really happy for them and it's really exciting and I'm sure I'm going to be bouncing off the walls when I get back, but it's like...i want to be surprised, you know? I don't want to see everything before I SEE everything. The thing I've always loved so much about Europe is how little about it I know. I loved hearing about the history, the descriptions of the castles...pictures ruin it. I want to imagine it all before I experience it. Is that awful of me to say that? To honestly say that listening about it makes me sad? I don't know if it is, but that's how I feel. I just...I just want to bloody be there before the rest of America is. So anyway, my resolution is to at least get out of the western part of America. PS- Red's going to the doctor tomorrow. Hopefully she'll all be fixed up by the end of the week. I now truly appreciate the convience of a trunk. Well, this is the end. Winter break officially ends in an hour when it's absolutely necessary I go to bed if I want to stay awake during classes tomorrow. Hope everyone had a kick-ass break. I know mine was. Carrie
