The Newly Employed

Yesterday I was feeling motivated, so I got all dressed nice and drove down to Pavillions to find a job. I went straight to Micheals, the place I originally wanted to work but didn't think was hiring. "Are you hiring?" "We are, hold on and I'll get you an application." "Wonderful." "Oh, here's one of our managers, Sam." "Hi Sam." "Do you have time for an interview right now?" "Sure." So I had a lil' interview. "Great, we'll let you know by Wednesday." "Wonderful." By eight o'clock that night, my phone rings. "Hello?" "Hi, this is Sam. Still interested?" "You bet." "Great. Start next Thursday." Wonderful. So, next Thursday at four I am beginning my job as a cashier at a craft store. I'm excited, and nervous, but mostly I'm just anxious to get into the swing of things and get comfortable with the job. SO, wish me luck next week. Last night Kris and I saw Hitch--hillarious movie, in case you were wondering. The ending was a little weak with Hitch, as somene had said earlier before I saw it, but it was still really good. K, well, it's Tuesday of spring break and so far I've spent my morning cleaning the kitchen, unloading and reloading the dishwasher, putting towels away, raking and sweeping the backyard, and otherwise wandering around my house looking for a project to do. I am so ridiculous when I get bored. Anyways, hope everyone else is having an awesome break. (Ursula is in NY right now...SOOOOO jealous. -.-) Carrie

I like the new header picture, very sexy. So far I've mowed the lawn, re-stocked the water bottles, and spent 6 hours at school repairing and painting the stage. And tomorrow....the set begins. :)
