Ignorance is Apathy

Hello, darling, how's the weather? It's been windy here and I think the dirt has covered up some scars, maybe uncovered some too. I wonder if it reached you. Did it rattle your cage at all? I'd hate to see you worry, fear to see you cry, all the while wondering why you always wished to die. But death was never there for you, like the god we wanted and both deny. Well the dark it should have kissed you. Hugged you close and strangled you. Your agonies left a mark, you know, left trails of tears on paths of the mind, You little Hansel, You little devil, life should have taken and deleted you. But you can't be deleted, can you? Nor can I nor past nor truth. I was gonna write but I got tongue-tied and the wind it carried away my empty message of an apathetic heart-- did it reach you? You must have been freezing when you saw it. It's windy now so this will reach you somehow and I know you'll be angry with me. I love the wind, how it howls and sings, did it rattle your cage, love? Did it damage your wings?

You wouldnt believe how much I look forward to your comments. And it would seem your lyrically insightful replies have rubbed off on the beau. And dont worry, as long as the drinks are still coming I'm still playing the game.

More so than the rarity is the way in which the comment will always completely understand what I was thinking or prompt me for a deeper dive into what I was protecting myself from with words. And yeah, metaphoric jibber jabber is most definitely a writing style i've embraced. Thanks for the love and letters.
