Tightening strings at the last minute

Well, hey, it works. What a long, exhausting day. I can't remember if some of the conversation I've had happened yesterday or today. Did night even occur? Of course it did--I know night happened because I had another awful dream about the play. But we won't go there. We won't go there because today's rehearsal went very well. Tech was awesome, the cast was great, and i have far fewer worries about tomorrow than I did 24 hours ago. My sister was a saving grace to us all when she brought us free dinner. She also printed more advertising posters for me, some posters for my English presentation tomorrow, and is doing some final touches on the playbill and printing that out. I owe her a lot. Thanks, sis! So we're just about ready for tomorrow. The show will probably be rough, as all first nights are, but I'm prepared for it. There's only a couple things now that I really wish I could fix--like those horrible trees in Central park...ick. They made them. I don't know why. We would have been better off just using silk trees (not to mention saved a lot of time). But hey, that's high school theatre for you. So don't be too harsh on the trees. 11:00. I'm in desperite need of some good sleep--I slept like the dead last night. But alas, I have to study for my mass comm exam tomorrow morning... Wish me luck tomorrow (or break a leg?) and I hope you can make it to the show! Carrie
