A Day of Good Things

Backtrack to last night, because the goodness really began there when David came over and we watched movies and talked until about 2am or whatever it was. And he gave me a massage! ^.^ Lots of goodness. And he bit me, which further proved my sensitivness to the neck. *shivers* Anyway, I had missed my dear Jolly and we had much fun. Today was a very good day. Mom and I went shopping for a birthday present for Jackie and while we were buying her a digital camera, I splurged and bought Adobe Photoshop. I'm in love with this program! It's SO cool!! My journal shall be changing soon...^.^ Mike and I went out tonight. The Academy (that's a marching band corps) had a dress rehearsal tonight so we went and saw that for a couple hours. Mostly we just talked while the band warmed up and all that. Then we had dinner at Denny's and walked around the car show and went back to his house to look at funny pictures from junoir high. Mike has turned out to be one of the coolest guys I know and if he didn't have a girlfriend, we'd definitely be going out. Oh well. : ( At any rate, I had a blast with him. My klepto! ^.^ Furthermore, on perhaps the most exciting note of all, my sister is finally engaged! Tim took her out to dinner tonight and proposed! I knew it, too! He asked me the other day what to get her for her birthday and I told him that jewelry would be nice and he gave me this really funny smile--the sort of smile someone has when they know something really grand and want to tell you but can't. Anyways, we're all very excited and she's coming over tomorrow morning to show off "the rock" and tell us the details. So, CONGRATULATIONS JACKIE AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Carrie
