House warming and wedding bells

To be honest, I'm not at all in the mood to journal, let alone write, but so much has been going on lately I feel guilty not recording at least the vaguest details. Kris and I are officially moved in to our new home in Tempe. Travis moved in earlier this week and the three of us have been living in harmony. We've been comfortable, the three of us, settled in and assigned where stuff goes and this and that. This morning our fourth roommate, Dina, arrived with her parents to help move in her stuff. I can't imagine how she felt to come into the house to find we've totally taken up the house and she wasn't in the room she had thought she was going to be in. On the other hand, I don't think she can understand how interrupted the three of us feel. She didn't stay tonight but there's a lot of her stuff here, taking up the space we recently cleaned out and tidied up. There's appliances we don't need and furniture we don't particularly want sitting in odd places about our neat areas. Anyway, I'm planning a little house meeting this weekend and hopefully we'll set things in order and this living arrangement will be a pleasant experience and not the nightmares all our friends tell us about. Nonetheless, we've really been enjoying our home. Kris got our entertainment center rocking, we finally have hot water after difficulty with the pilot light, and I have a comforter on my bed. : D All the necessities. : D Anyway, my cousin Matt gets married tomorrow. I can hardly believe it. We went to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner tonight. I'm an usher (weird, I know, but if you only understood about this wedding...) and doing a reading, which is nice. Maybe I'll tell you about the wedding when it happens. Then again, I really have been slacking on the entries... In other news, the job hunt continues and school starts Monday. Joy. So, the busy life of Carrie Caulfield continues... Carrie
