Captain's Log

You've never felt a freedom like this before; where waking up at a noon is the casual dreamer getting ahead on a day devoted to nothing--the morning nicely spent after a night of grand finishes and the end to complications. To elaborate, on the morning past--not this, for as I have just awaken, the morning is still with me now--I tackled Must-do and managed to wrestle out Solution; finally an ending to a battle over what classes to take in the war which is college transition. A quick change of uniform and it was off to job #2--a return the higher-pay, shorter-hours pace of office space and file labels. A cruise up north brought a happy afternoon of great cousine--my sister's cooking--and some time with Carrie and Harry. And as the time dwindled away, finally I could no longer stay, and tied up the Converse for job #1 and well, that place, it never bores. At nights end and the adventure's beginning, it was a calm night of watermelon, ice creamc ones, and the placement of the final puzzle piece to the Arc de Triomphe. Today is in the air and I feel some inspiration there...oh the things I could accomplish...I shall attack today and later journal my trophies... Carrie
