On the move

What a week! Endless, I tell you!! Today wasn't too bad though. We had our first real Thread rehearsal and managed to do a speed-read-through and then begin on some blocking. I worked with Brandon and Chelsea on their scene at the bus stop where Vi and Oscar kiss for the first time--it was also when Brandon and Chelsea kissed for the first time. They were kind of wanting to get over the awkwardness of it and while Brandon stuttered through excuses and reasons, Chelsea and leaned over and laid one on him. It was his hysterical! Of course, that was AFTER Brandon and dipped her over and laid a fake one on Chelsea and I thought her eyes were going to pop out of her head. Anyway, it was really funny and their scene is looking pretty good. I still have to work with Chelsea a bit to "find Vi" but she's at least listening to what I'm telling her to try to do. Afterwards I went to the Miller's for a yummy steak dinner. No broccoli rice tonight, but that's okay. : ) I played video games with the boys (aka: I pressed buttons at random and made ridiculous comments of my suddent discoveries as they laughed at me and played seriously). Video games are so confusing though. There's so much to look at! Tomorrow's Friday...not much of a relief, really, because I have sooooo much to do and i can never count on getting work done on the weekends. I still have to finish up my RA stuff... Last night Josh and I went to a big conference meeting thing where all the head honchos of the tv stations in the valley talked about the future of television. It was fairly interesting. Afterwards we talked to Leah about CV and she actually told me that she was really hoping I was going to stay, but understands that because of the time and money factors, it wouldn't have been worth it for me. However, if I do manage to land the RA spot, she'll definitely be happy to have me around. I'm still a pickle about the RA thing. I guess I don't really care either way, if I make it or not, it's just...arg. I just don't want to be missing out on something that could benefit me in any way. I feel like I really started taking advantage of highschool when it was too late and I don't want that to happen again. Anyway, next year I'll be doing marching band and Kris will be here so all will be good. I'm actually getting ready for pre-registration now. Trying to figure out what classes to take, how many hours I can handle, etc. Tough stuff. K, well, I guess I should go to bed. Tomorrow: Mass comm, english, french, a bit of studying, light packing, and then to Scottsdale... Carrie
