you can never go too far... When Jesus choose his disciples he didnt choose high preists or pharisees... he choose tax collectors and sinners- the ones that needed him most. all you have to do is ask for forgiveness and mean it and than ask him to make you desire him more than anything and mean it. Than let God pull you back slowly step by step... but understand what your asking... it's going to change everything you have ever known...
