Listening to: I Drove All Night - Celine Dion
Feeling: detached
We went to visit Matt today, i nearly broke my neck running to his barn, there was so much mud everywhere.I think I sprained my knee, it really hurts when I walk.
Matthew was very sleepy, but when he saw and smelled us, he was very happy. Well, as happy as he could be with that drugged and dopey look on his face, poor baby. I think I was in his stall for an hour, just petting and mumbling little useless things.
I don't think I'm ever going to get married, just have lots of horses. Heh!
The surgeon says he can be back in action in four months.
I don't care how long it takes. I'm never in a hurry, ever. I want to see him well and healed before he comes back into training.
I've decided what I'm going to do with my life, finally.I'm going to become a vet. Not a wimpy country vet--no, I'm going to work at a big ass hospital like Auburn or some place in Kentucky, and people will bring me their horses from all over the world.
I decided no to medical school, as I really tend not to like most people--mind you, there are a few I like outside of family--and generally wouldn't want to deal with morons all day in a stuffy office. I think animals have it worse than humans, because when they hurt, they can't scream.
I've started playing HL again, and someone pounced on me and asked me to make a personalized pic for them. They're offering me one million in HL money to do it. This blew my mind--i had no idea these people still remembered small school Princess Yuy and her little layout and pic site. But they did, and orders are pouring in from everywhere. I take the highest paying ones. I can choose.
I put up chapter five today. I don't like it.
I have my laptop on my desk, and my window is open--I'm looking at the stars. I think it's so sad how the little moths bang repeatedly into the window screen to reach the light, and all fail so miserably. Their tiny wings get so, so tired and they relax for a minute, plunging to their deaths one story below.
My friend has one of those big light bug-killer things that they run into and get shocked and die. I hate that thing. I hate the sound it makes when they're shocked and I hate the whole idea of it. Bluuuh...gives me chills just thinking about it.
