12a) Why do you write?
I write because it is a way for me to express feeling, thought, and emotion. It's a way for me to show people who I am in possibly the only manner I can do it in. I write because I become the character, I become the rain and the sky and the forests and seas I describe, I become the dreamer, the singer, the wisher, the fighter. I love that feeling. Writing helps me to escape strong emotions sometimes--my feelings flow from my heart to my head to my fingers or pencil and interweave with my words. A simple phrase such as "And they sat" can carry hatred, or love, or joy, or extreme sadness. I write also for the sheer satisfaction of seeing someone gain enjoyment from my words, words that I find myself unable to say out loud but words that I can state so boldly on paper.
12b.) For whom do you write?
I used to tell everyone I write for myself. And however true this is, I also write for others. It's nice to hear people say every so once in a while that you have talent, or that they like your work. Maybe it's a bit vain, but comments like those are what push me to try new writing forms, to write better, to be the best I can be.
I like my english teacher.
Well. You're writing for ME. I'm still waiting on AF and SC... *CM you know...
