Ahhh last GHP Friday. Ahhhhh I'm so bummed!!! I spent half of last night praying that everyone would keep in touch with me--I think the biggest deal, for me, is losing contact with all of these new friends that I care about so much--you know?! I mean, I get that I've only known them six weeks, but it feels like a lifetime. A long lifetime.
I guess everything'll just be different now when I go home.
I got an email from the head coach of the Eq team at Cornell University--he was very excited that I was interested in the team and very helpful.
When I get home, I leave Wednesday to stay with Danielle and Harrison and go to the Pine Top show with them. It's near Callaway Gardens and should be uber cool--they're letting me bring Pedro!!! Not to show, yet, but to ride.I'm also going to be a general barn slave. When mom told me I was SO ECSTATIC. Yay! I've missed my ponies so so so so so much. SO much.
Pedro's saddle pad patches came in. His show name is now "Gryffindor" because because of his daddy's line we have to give him a G name, and we're embroidering the seal and the name onto each side of my show pads. :DDD
I always feel so snazzy with him. He's such a good boy. Um, although he apparently wasn't the other day, since he rolled on the leadrope and then reared, but that's because he's been on stall rest for his foot and now he's bored. =( Who can blame him?
Oh and we got our Comm Arts T-shirts. Yesss. They are amazing, of course.
