so tired. listening to new favorite song: music of the night. im about halfway through the phantom of the opera, and im having very confused feelings. part of me thinks christine should go with raoul (the handsome nice happy charming fellow, for those of you who dont know much about the story) and then a large part of me would stay with erik if i were her. (erik is 'the phantom'. he wears a mask, because his face is disfiguired and it scares people. so he lives in the dark near a lake under the paris opera house, and composes brilliant music.) both men are in love with christine. and both of them seem to have fallen in love with her at the sound of her singing voice? but yeah. a large part of me would stay under the paris opera house with erik, and help him make the music of the night, and cure his sorrow. it reminds me of edward scissorhands and the nightmare before christmas somehow. and i know shes going to pick raoul. who wouldnt? me. _______________ i think i may have used much too simple words for a masterpiece. like 'scares people' im tired. sorry. just read the book for yourself. but its like, erik just wants someone to share the world that he knows so well, the one he is comofortable with. and then he thinks he found the person that may be able to do that. and i can tell she isnt going to choose him. as christine says in the book, poor erik.
