Dear Diary,
What a FUN day today. I woke up at 9:45 because my dad needed his projecter at work asap. I got it to him in ten minutes! I was so proud of myself. I hung out for awhile. I talked to Haleigh, who's birthday was today. She said she wasn't really doing anything fun, so I decided we should go see a movie.
We bought our tickets for the Devil Wears Prada... and then they tell us that the movie is broken, and we can't see it. But we were able to go to Click instead. We were the only people in the theater! Click was pretty good... Some parts made me cringe, but some parts made me laugh, and I even cried! Like, literally, there were tears. Do you know the last time I cried at a movie? But it was sooo sad and cute. I liked it.
After I took Haleigh home, I had to hurry to a Youth Camp Leader meeting. That was... interesting. I really, really, really hope I can make camp work. I don't know any of the girls in my group, but I so want to be the best YCL ever. I want to make a difference in these girls' lives...
Once I got back from that, I went to Jessie's house! lol I know, I had a busy day. That was absolutely the best time. We talked a LOT about boys... Lots of boys... We always do. And we watched THE BEST MOVIE EVER! Persuasion, based on the book by Jane Austen. Oh. My. Gosh. So amazingly cute. It's about this guy and girl who fell in love, but things didn't work out and they lost each other. Then 9 years later they find each other again. But they figure that the other doesn't love them... They both almost get married to different people... But they still love each other! It was... wow.... Warm fuzzies. It made me think about things... lol.
Jessie said the most amazing thing tonight. We've both had a relationship that meant a lot to us, and it ended for both of us. So we were talking about that, and she said, "If we were so incredibly happy with these guys that we weren't meant to be with, just imagine how happy we'll be with the man we marry." Happiness! It really hit me hard... lol now I'm so excited to get married! BUT not for quite awhile yet!
Anyway. It was an absolutely lovely night.
My song for the night is "Only Fools Rush In" by Elvis Presley... It's beautiful...
Love,
Lisa Ann
P.S. Saturday I get to practice my flirting skills! I am so excited. Tee hee.
