Dear Diary,
Okay, I finally have a few minutes to write about homecoming. So here it goes!
We so totally won the football game. Woo!
Our group was Brad and Emily, Jason and Haleigh, Josh and Koree, Nate and Jillian, and Christa and Jerry. On Saturday (the 9th) afternoon, I picked up Quinn and then we met the group at Jerry's house. We divided into groups and went on a scavenger hunt! Quinn, Jason, Haleigh, and myself went with Jerry (Christa was working). So we drove around looking for the random things that were on our list---and we had so much fun! It was probably the best part of the date. I think Quinn had fun, too. We would explain to him what we were looking for and what was going on and such.
After that, Jerry took us home and we got ready for the date. Emily Peterson came over to do my hair, and it was way cute! I got done rather late, though, and had about fifteen minutes to do make-up and get everything else ready. But I only made Quinn wait a few minutes. Tee hee! Jerry brought him to my house and he came to the door alone. It was fun walking down our Prom Staircase that Sarah and I had always dreamed about, even though my date couldn't see me. My family took LOTS of pictures. lol. Oh! And Quinn brought me a rose. That was really nice.
Then we made our way to Chili's for some DELICIOUS food. That was nice. Quinn and I talked some---probably not as much as I should've. Whenever I know I'm supposed to be carrying on a conversation, I get nervous and I don't know what to say! But we did talk. Finally the dinner was over and we went to the dance.
I loved seeing everyone there! That was exciting. Um... We pretty much just waited for pictures forever. I don't know how our pictures turned out---I guess we'll have to see. Or, I guess I'LL have to see. lol. But it was fun.
We went back into the gym after that. It was a little awkward, because Quinn doesn't dance. So I was kind of dancing by myself. But he would slow dance with me, so that was nice.
After the dance was over we went back to Jerry's house and they started a movie, but since Quinn and I had to be home by midnight we decided we'd just leave. I drove us home (my car was still at Jerry's) and that was it!
Once I had time to think about it, I was really worried that Quinn didn't have fun. But Jerry and Thomas (Quinn's friend) told me that he did, so hopefully it went well. I had LOTS of fun. And I learned a lot about Quinn, including how to act with blind people.
I'm really glad I got to go. Quinn is great! I think I'm going to try to get to know him even better. Scary! But I want to.
So that was homecoming!
More updates on life later!
Love,
Lisa Ann
