Dear Diary, Wow, California is hot. It's probably about 105 degrees today, which is nothing to the 115 yesterday. My cousin's wedding was yesterday. I'll start from the beginning. It was held in this HUGE church (they're not LDS), very beautiful. Unfortunately, it was NOT AIRCONDITIONED. That was not fun. Although it wasn't as bad as the day before when we went for the weddding rehearsal. Anyway. The wedding was everything you have ever pictured a non-LDS traditional wedding to be. Large, expensive, and perfectly planned. The bride, my cousin's wife, was wearing a beautiful dress. She's a nice girl. Um... It was kind of sad, though, knowing that this marriage wouldn't last forever. "Until death do they part," was what they said. Really sad. Anyway. Finally we got out of the hot hot church and went to the reception. The reception was... WOW. It was held in this huge ornate country club. Very fancy and beautiful, catered, with dancing and lots of drinking. I told my mom I wanted a reception exactly like it... except without the drinking. lol. But it was very nice... and did I mention expensive? So that was the wedding all summed up. Today hasn't been quite as exciting. We went to church in Folsom with two sets of aunt and uncles (my mom's side which are mostly LDS). Then we attempted to visit my aunt on my dad's side, but she didn't want to see us... she has problems. yeah. And now we are at my Aunt Carolyn's house (mom's side, not LDS... I have a messed up family) with my cousin and his new wife. She's really nice. We're having like a "goodbye lunch" or something. They leave on their honeymoon tomorrow. Okay, I'm starving now so I think I'll eat. OH! Just for your info, in case anyone is wondering, I'll be coming back home on the Friday the 28, I believe. AND CALL ME PEOPLE! My life is not exciting just because I'm a thousand miles away. Call me and chat! I'm the youngest person on this vacation... by a lot. Boring. Anyone, my fam is all here so I've got to go.
