Dear Diary, I received quite a surprise today. A really good surprise. I was sitting in third hour when I got a note from the office saying I had a package to pick up. It was a card. Like, a homemade card. That someone made. For me! Here's what the card said: "Lisa, I just wanted to tell you how amazing you are. The past few days you've seemed kinda down, so I thought I'd tell you how much I admire you. You always look so cute, and you're so good in drama! I would never have the courage to get onstage in front of people. We're not that close, but I just wanted you to know that I've always looked up to you so much! Always remember that you are a daughter of God who loves you sooooo much! Love, A friend" Isn't that nice!?! I was shocked. I sat down on a bench next to the office and just stared at it. I've never gotten anything like this---especially anything without a name. I'm trying to figure out who it is... Who could've known how much I needed that? I was so much happier all day. I want to thank them!!! Just knowing that someone out there is thinking of me... that someone cares enough to spend all that time making me a card... I can hardly believe it. But wow.
