Dear Diary, What a week. I've been busy with drama rehearsals mostly, getting ready for region competition. I've got two scenes in the play and I'm also preparing a monolouge for my individual event. So I've been working pretty hard. Last night was interesting. I was sitting at home alone, bemoaning the fact that there weren't any guys in my life, when my cousin called me. She was out with her boyfriend (Luke), and asked me if I wanted to go on a blind date. Of course I did! Duh! So we doubled and went to a movie. The guy's name is Brady, he's a junior, but 17. My impression of him? He's pretty cute, athletic, and a nice guy. The first thing I told Kadee when we got home was that I liked how he talked to me during the movie. She started laughing. Apparently the last girl he liked HATED that he talked during movies, so it was pretty ironic. He asked Kadee if I minded talking during movies. Of course, I never shut up, especially during movies! Anyway. So we hit it off there. I was texting Luke about the date and apparently Brady wants to go out again. He asked me for my number and everything. :) I'm pretty dang excited. Especially because we'll be able to double with Kadee and Luke, and that'll be way fun. (Although I'm still thinking about this other guy a little bit... and I have no idea why...) So... In other news... My sister Sarah is engaged. This was my reaction to the news: "...Congratuatlations." That's about it. I just... can't bring myself to be excited about it. Gary is an okay guy, and they seem to be kinda happy... but... Well he can also be a jerk, to her and to my family. No one is very happy with this. Oh, and they're not getting married in the temple and he won't tell us why. The whole thing is kind of weird. I just want my sister to be happy, and I guess I'm not convinced that she'll be happy with him. Anyway, I just hope it all works out for the best... Love, Lisa Ann
