the priestly source tradition

There are just some people who, when you watch them, make you feel more alive. I mean, the energy some people show when they walk or talk to someone in turn makes me feel more energetic. There's a person like that here at UD. He is the Dean of Student Life, Charlie Latour. He's a young looking man but in his 40's, no signs of premature aging, always having a spring in his step and a smile on his face. It's Charlie Latour's job to make people happy as Dean of Student Life. Sometimes he brings his little dog to school, and I see him walk quickly along the mall with his little dog on a leash and it makes me smile. Charlie Latour always walks quickly. Maybe that's because he's always doing something, he's always busy, always wanted. When he passes me by on the mall or in the student center, I feel more energetic and able to finish what I'm doing with a smile on my face. I don't know if it's that the man amuses me or if his energy is contagious. I guess it's a little of both. I just love to look at him, to watch him talk to someone or walk somewhere. He never fails to make me smile, and he doesn't even know it. Yes, I'll admit it. I have a priest-crush on Father Charlie.
