i had a headache yesterday because i worked too hard

Word of the Day: pulchritude JD started school yesterday. He's taking three classes, and only one of them relate to his degree. I laugh at him because he's in speech and he's going to have to read and study and write stuff. He's not going to like me if he asks me to read his speeches because I'll edit them and I don't think he likes the way I write papers. He told me, though, that he thinks he's going to be able to get his degree sooner than he thought. He's taking three classes this semesster, he'll take four next semester, and then he'll only have one more class to take in June so that he can 'graduate' in August. And then I'll be able to go to school. I've started to have those dreams again. Those dreams with random UD people in them. I had them all last summer after coming home from Rome and into September and October. I guess they'll come around every August for at least a little while longer. Why can't I just let it go? The rapist at work asked me is I was married today. Speaking of work, other than being extremely perturbed by Jack, I still love it. I'm mostly all the way caught up with everything. I had all the invoices done, stamped, and in the mailbox at eleven, and I'm done posting last week's Corporate Lodging crap. I don't understand what's going on most of the time, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. Today Adrian, Cyndi, and Teresa were fighting about some money something, some deposit that was supposed to be a lot over [or maybe a lot short], and I wasn't paying attention. Teresa asked me something, and I was all like, 'I'm not listening, I've got to concentrate on this stuff to make sure it's done right'. And I'm apparently still a part of the front desk staff since Anitra calls me and asks me to make copies for her or send faxes for her or move a guest to a different room in the computer. I'm sorry, friend, I'm back there to take reservations and do my accounting work, not to do part of your job for you. Even after she left at three and there were three people at the desk, they were still sending calls back to my phone. They're telling me it's so busy that one of three people can't take a reservation call, be it making or checking or changing a reservation? I mean, don't be stupid. I had even called the desk and told Ana not to transfer calls to me because I had to finish posting before I went home. Even Jeff's getting fed up with the desk's ignorance. And speaking of Jeff, he told me I always look so professional in my office clothes. He told me he was going to buy me a briefcase to complete the look. And then we started making fun of his man-bag. Bwahahaha. Any road, it was nice of him to say that. It made me feel good that people notice.

I would definitely be uneasy around someone with that kind of record. If I lived closer, I would come and teach you some sweet self-defense moves , just in case.

:-)

Be safe!
It sucks when you can't get your work done because other people won't do theirs. I have stupid truck-drivers at work that will walk across the grounds to come ask me "has so-and-so landed yet?" And I'm like "You were just in the hangar, did you see his plane there? I'm guessin that if it's not on the ground, it's in the air" Stupid people cheese me off. I hope the desk people get smart! I'm glad you love your job!
The rapist at work? I must have missed something....Fill me in....

It irritates me when people ask other people to do their jobs because they are "so busy" and supposedly, can't get to it themselves. Give me a break!

How's Patrick? Crawling? Walking? Riding a bike? :-)

Take care...
having other people notice is always nice. they have super cute briefcases at target, they are actually laptop cases, but they're so cool. get one of those.

how's the babeh? you haven't mentioned little patrick lately, i miss the mommy entries.
