Word of the Day: lido I'm such a bum. I can't even write in my diary anymore. So JD still hasn't gotten a job. I hate living here, there's no opportunities for people like him, going to school and trying to help his family. We got a letter from the unemployment office saying they can't pay him unemployment because he goes to school so he's not available for work. However, he got a letter today saying they will pay him unemployment, but it's dated before the letter he got Saturday. They want him to quit school? I don't support any program at all that encourages people to not get an education. He went to school and worked over thirty-five hours a week before he got fired, so I don't know what they're talking about. I was so mad on Saturday I was getting ready to rip up the letter, but I thought better of it. I think JD's going to appeal the denial since they were stupid enough to send him a letter authorizing unemployment before deciding to deny it. Indeed, I believe he should. I've been watching a lot of Cartoon Network lately. JD got me in to 'The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy' and 'Ed, Edd & Eddy' [which I thought was really stupid until I sat down and watched it], and now I'm addicted to all the damn shows, 'Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends', 'Codename: Kids Next Door', 'Xiaolin Showdown', even the extremely cheesy anime 'One Piece'. I rarely stay up for [adult swim], but I only really like 'Futurama' and 'Family Guy' anyway. Of course, 'Futurama' conflicts with 'The Daily Show', and everyone knows I want to marry Jon Stewart, so I don't watch a lot of 'Futurama'. And speaking of TV, I had a dream this morning about 'Lost' I dreamt that I was on the island, too, and the Sawyer liked me instead of Kate. He smiled at me a lot and let me run my fingers through his hair, and he gave me a necklace that he had that was his gradmothers. It was a very meaningful and loving gesture, and I woke up all weirded out and tingly. Another dream I had last week also had me weirded out, but not tingly so much. I dreamt that JD and I lived in my parent's house, except it wasn't my parent's house, it was really our house. It was decorated how we like and nothing of my parents was there except the landscaping outside. All of a sudden, Scott and Sarah came to visit us, and we were talking about families and babehs [aka Patrick and Lily and Mel, not their own] and life in general. I don't remember what was said, nor do I remember anything else that happened in the dream. I woke up not remembering who the people were, and eventually familiar faces started appearing as I tried to remember. Finally it dawned on me that it was Scott and Sarah and I got the weirded out feeling again like I had when I woke up that morning. I discovered, after working in the same office as him a few days, that Mark is stupid. I really have no idea what he did in Fort Worth, but he certainly doesn't know what he's doing in accounting. He keeps asking me dumb questions, so I've resorted to flat out lying to him. He asked me one day if I knew how to print labels from the computer, and I told him not really even though I think everyone who knows how to use a computer knows how to print labels [or at least everyone who knows how to read because instructions come with the labels]. I don't know if he has everything organized in his brain or if he's just clueless, but he trys my patience sometimes. Along with having to deal with Mark's silly questions, Monica's hiring people for the desk, and I've been training people. So far, she's hired about four people and they've all quit. One girl started yesterday, Priscilla, and hopefully she doesn't cop out and quit because she's really really awesome. She's laid back and smart, a quick learner, and has hotel experience. I barely did anything today except answer the phone when she was already on it and help her with some reservations. It was rather nice. So Patrick and his little cousins took Easter-type pictures on Saturday. We got the CD of the pictures and they're pretty crappy quality, but they're cute nevertheless. A show--

Ethan, Evan, and Patrick. I love Evan's big ole round head!!!! So I've not been doing a lot with my free time apart from playing World of Warcraft, starting to knit these, playing with Patrick and JD, and trying to watch all of 'Kill Bill', both volumes, on TV [I always miss at least half an hour from beginning, middle or end of either film]. Oh, and not writing in my sitD because...I don't know why. Nothing to say, really.

oh my goodness, Ashley, I would PAY YOU to knit me some of those. Would you? Seriously! I love those.

Those pictures are too cute. Patrick just gets more and more good looking. Pretty soon he's gonna be fighting off the little baby ladies. Such a cutie.

I am crossing my fingers for JD, because that's rediculous, as you know.
