goodbye front desk

Very rarely do I make more than one entry in a day, but I feel that it's necessary today. So Teresa's 'called in sick' since Monday. Interesting, considering she doesn't know corporate wants to fire her. Any road, Jeff asked me today during our service committee meeting if I could start five days a week, full time, starting Monday in the back office helping Cyndi. I responded a very enthusiastic affirmative. Instead of having four days off in a row, I have five days off in a row [in my mind to make up for being incapacitated yesterday], sort of a mini vacation before I start a real job. Praised be Jesus, thank you so very much. This is actually happening and I don't know if I can take it. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Congratulations! to you, Miss Ashley! Enjoy your pre-real-job vacation!
That's great news, girly!

Enjoy the "mini-break" (as the Brits would phrase it) and do something FUN.

Good luck on your first day....
