Normally in Under the Bible, I want to sleep. It's a pretty easy class, basic things about the Bible and the history if the people Israel. Who was Abraham, who was Moses, who was David, what did these prophets say, things like this. Most of my friends find these things extremely boring because either they went to Catholic school for 13 years or they're really religious and know about this stuff already. I find it interesting, however, because I came from a dirty public school. Any road, I always want to sleep because the class before Under the Bible is pointless and it puts me to sleep. So, today in Under the Bible, my professor kept me awake with her antics. She is a little more than enthusiasic about some parts of the Bible, and she loves to talk about the Sermon on the Mount and parables in Matthew. And so, she got so excited she nearly fell off her stool. This didn't faze her one bit. Later on she was telling us about bread, how much she loves bread, how much she loves to make bread, how much she loves the smell of bread. It was hilarious. This little, white-haired woman getting so excited about bread. I don't even remember what brought her to that subject or what point she was trying to make with it. However, now that we know about her obsession with bread, I think we should convince her to make us some next spring in Rome. That would be so awesome. I have lots of reading to do. I really don't know why we're required to read some of the things we're required to read. It's a silly thing. We sometimes don't even talk about some of the things we have to read. Needless to say, without talking about it I think the pointless reading is helping me. Somehow. I just like to read, and most of what I have to read is interesting. So, even if it doesn't have a point, it can't be all that bad.
