wafted air

I was driving home from work this evening when I smelled the sweet smell of freshly-cut grass. I don't have air conditioner in my car, so I was crusing down the highway with my window down, and the wonderful smell filled my car. We've been getting some rain here so I guess the people thought it might be a good thing if they mow the grass now before it gets too out of hand. They've actually been mowing for a few days now, but it was only today that I finally was able to smell the grass. I love the smell of grass right after it's cut. It makes me feel young and happy. It brings back the days of my sweet childhood, playing in the backyard with my dog and my imagination. It reminds me of spring and rain and blooms and flowers. It makes me feel healthy so that I could jump out of the atmosphere and into space. But if I were in space then I wouldn't be able to smell the grass, and that would just be a bad thing.

Yes! Trogdor. Burninating the peasants. I love that too. In fact, I have my Homestar shirt on right now. It seems we have a lot in common. The ability to speak correct english, I've read Jane Eyre, I've taken every history class avalible at my school, and C.S. Lewis is awesome. And I like english humor. I've met John Cleese! My name on AIM is "vintgecheesgrits."
