hydroplaning

I've had numerous adventures these past few days. There was our trip to storage and the moldy fridge, there was the trip to the scary bus station to pick up the last quadmate, and then there was the evil drive to my love's. STORAGE So Michelle and I went to the storage place last night to pick up the rest of the stuff that was in there. There were two boxes, a really huge trash bag, and Kim's fridge. We put the boxes and the trash bag in Michelle's car and tried to move the fridge. It leaked. Apparently Kim didn't quite finish defrosting it all before she left in May, and so the back of the fridge was all moldy and nasty. Along with having to clean all that out of the fridge, it was nearly 9 in a remote part of Irving and rather scary. At least, I was scared. Not cool. BUS STATION This morning Michelle and I went to pick up Kim from the bus station downtown. Never again. That was creepy, and it gave me the jibblies. Michelle had to come with me because I didn’t have any idea where I was going and she had dropped Kim off there in May so she did. So we went to the bus station where we were immediately asked for money by sad-eyed people. Man, was it ever scary. I was like, ‘Why did we have to get here early?’ I was so glad Michelle decided to come with me then because I would have probably gotten mugged or something before Kim got there. I mean, I felt sorry for those people even if their stories weren’t true. They were so hard up for money that they had to scam people at the bus station to get some. So not only did the creepy people make me nervous, but the prospect of being lost in downtown Dallas didn’t set too well with me since no one knew how to get back to the interstate. But it all worked out fine and dandy in the end, thank goodness, and the three of us returned to campus with nary a scratch, the trip taking a full hour. RICHARDSON I had everything mapped and planned out on how I was to get to Aaron’s apartment in Richardson. There are lots of ways, but I’m wary of the interstates in the city because my car isn’t all that reliable. So I decided to take the ‘backways’ which aren’t even all that back. I took the long way there and it was way longer than I thought. Traffic and heat combined to give me a headache and a cranky mood. Not only traffic and heat, but I got frustrated because I had no idea where to go past a certain point to find the apartment. Needless to say, when I found the apartment building I was looking for, I was greatly miffed. All I wanted was some pain killers and to be still, but Aaron said I needed to get a temporary parking permit, and he really didn’t know where to get one. So we drove everywhere, which increased my miffed mood, and finally got the stupid little piece of paper. To make things better, though, I stayed a lot longer than expected and had a really good time. By the time I left to come back home, I felt better, the rain had stopped, it was much cooler outside, and there wasn’t a lot of traffic. But now no one’s home, and I’m here all by myself. What are the chances of that?

Sounds like you've been busy lately... by any chance would your comment link allude to Trogdor the Burninator? Or am I crazy.
