Word of the Day: intransigent I haven’t had an ear infection since I was about six I think, and then all of a sudden I woke up with one Saturday morning. It’s better now, thank goodness, it doesn’t feel as if my eardrum is going to explode, but I still can’t hear well. Slowly the fluid is draining out and I feel better and better. A bunch of us were supposed to watch movies Saturday night at my house, but when they all got here we just wound up talking till midnight. It was great fun. I began to lose my voice, though, and I sounded really funny Sunday morning. I’m amazed at something, but I cannot think of what. Josh took a picture of my feet. I'm not the only one who takes pictures of feet!! I think it's a little late to become obsessed over Monarch of the Glen and The Office on BBC America. Why did I not discover these shows at the beginning of June?! Ah well, they'll still be playing in the summer when I'm back, and I can savor what I have that's left. 24 days to Rome.
