work = love [what?]

Word of the Day: soi-disant I looooooooooove the back office. I eat for free, I get to have breakfast [oh, Lord, biscuits and gravy], I sit down all day, I get to go to the bank and run random errands, they give me gas money, Cyndi and Teresa are super nice, we all get to make fun of Jeff all the time, I get an hour to eat instead of half an hour, I actually leave when I'm supposed to [and I'm not bothered when I don't]. Holy crap. The only bad thing is that the air conditioner doesn't work very well in the summer and the heater doesn't work [or it didn't work this past winter], but that's fine because I love long sleeved things and jackets and things. I harassed Jeff on Friday because I hadn't gotten my raise yet, so hopefully Cyndi's working on that [at least the raise I was supposed to get for the front desk; I should be getting another raise for moving to the back after that] and it'll be on not this coming check but the one after that. Right? So in preparation for The Brothers Grimm, opening Friday, I've been trying to watch some Terry Gilliam movies, or at least researching them. I wonder if people would think I was lame if they knew I had the IMDb on my favorites list. Any road, the other weekend I started watching Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, but I couldn't get past the first half-hour. Too many drugs for my liking. Which is weird because I liked Requiem for a Dream. Well, I got through it. So I watched the first half-hour of Fear and Loathing and will probably watch the rest of it later this week because I'm dumb for not finishing it. I had really weird dreams that night. I watched 12 Monkeys Sunday night. JD told me I wasn't going to be able to stay awake for it [I have the tendancy of falling asleep during movies if I watch them at home], but I was a trooper and stayed awake. I might make JD take me to Hastings later on this evening or tomorrow to try to find Time Bandits and/or Brazil. Would people also think I was lame if they knew that I actually prepared to watch a movie in the theater? I don't know, tell me. In short, I'm excited about The Brothers Grimm. And work.

Ugh! Movies in theatres! Ugh!

I was cool with them till I saw Ocean's 12. After getting my brother and roomies all worked up, the movie sucked.

I am interested in seeing that movie too. Although, I probably won't prepare myself quite as well as you are... :-)

And I am happy to hear that work is going well for you. Biscuits and gravy sounds reeeaaalllyyyy good right now.

:-)

P.S. How's the babe?
Sorry, I meant Patrick. I often refer to babies as babes... :-)

But you answered my question. I am so glad he is doing well at daycare.

Alright, I am off to sleep....
