I was talking to one of my friends online this afternoon and she told me a funny thing. As she was walking to class this morning, she saw a squirrel fall out of a tree. Now isn't that just a little out of character for a squirrel? I don't like cruelty to animals or things like that, but just the thought of a squirrel falling out of a tree made me laugh. Very hard. My friend said that the squirrel looked stunned for a few seconds, then got up, hopped on the trunk of the tree, and started climbing again. You must give credit to the little guy; I would be in therapy for weeks to overcome my fear of trees. This isn't really related to what I was saying, but it somewhat is. I have another friend who fell out of a tree himself. He fell out of a tree. Of course, my friend was badly hurt with compression fractures and things like this, and it definitely wasn't a funny thing at the time. But we make fun of him now about it. He wasn't seriously hurt--over a year later he's doing better than before (he has awesome posture now). I thank God every time I see him that I'm able to make fun of him for falling out of a tree. My silly friends. I love them all.
