Those Cistercian monks...you must give it to them, they sure know how to do things nonchalantly.
The gloriousness of this day is more than I can stand. My friends and I decided to spend some time in the sunshine. We took a trip to the Sonic to get drinks so we could sit by the duck pond and look cool while we studied. I don't know about the looking cool part, but we did get some studying done, some reading of politics and and some reading of history some reading of Omeros and some editing of a Dante paper. I didn't do all of that. It was the collective work of all. And then we played in the trees. My friend has the idea of taking pictures in these weird and interesting places, such as in the trees behind the dorm. She wants to find a canoe and take pictures of people floating in the duck pond. She wants all of us to get typical UD books, the big Plato book, the Iliad, the Aeneid, the big Tocqueville book, Henry Adams, the Divine Comedy, the Bible, the major books of freshman year, and take pictures of us obviously studying in front of and on the stone sign in front of the school. She wants all of us to play in the fountain of the business across the street and take pictures of us. My friend is awesome. That will be a very fun Saturday.
we have a park here that has ducks and its so fun to walk over there and just wander around, especially on beautiful days like these. :-)
