Word of the Day: panjandrum I was in the cleaning/packing mood since JD left for his lab. I was picking up the desk when I realized I hadn't put pictures on Betty in about a month. And then I couldn't help but post some pictures becuase they're toooooooo cute. Frist off- Day six of Patrick's life. I spent that night in the hospital to ensure the nurses that I could adequitely take care of my son. I absolutely love this picture--it's my favorite one of Patrick ever. I've put it up before, but I just love it. Patrick taking a bath, I think for one of the first times sitting up. Those are my mommy's arms in there. I love this picture. I always like to show Patrick and JD interacting because, of course, everyone knows that Patrick and I do. Patrick in his little walker. I don't like to have him in there a long time because I want him to focus on crawling and/or sitting up first, but he enjoys it when he's in there. He's not so good at controlling it and can usually just go backwards, but he likes the going other places aspect of it. This was taken in the last week. An example of Patrick holding his bottle. Played out [and hugging on my sleepy pants]. Oh, and though it's not a very good picture of it, he's in his Led Zep shirt. Patrick's not content anymore with calmly lying in his bed. Oh no, he is rebelling and starting to pull down the bumper and peek out. I can't put him to bed anymore without him rolling around and looking out at stuff. This is when he first was getting on his hands and knees, when he wasn't yet actually going too far. He'd just be up and then flail his arms and legs out and be on his belly. Though that also looks like the day him and Betty had a fight [he was trying to get at the wireless adapter, the blinky light, and moved too fast for me and bumped his head on her side]. Chillin with me. It's our new bed! I told JD, one day after we went shopping, to take a nap. So he grabbed the Charmin and snuggled up with it. Patrick under a mountain of his newly-cleaned clothes. I told him to fold his clothes and all he did was smile at me, so I poured them on him. And he's still smiling. Can you see his teeeeeeth?!
