Word of the Day: masterful
I was productive yesterday. I got everything done but two things.
Things I did:
* Got Eleanor's oil changed and gave her a bath
* Went to Wal-Mart for cereal, formula, a new razor with blades, soap, and a folder to organize our important paperwork
* Sent off Eleanor's payment and my ON payment.
* Gave Patrick a bath because he was sweaty from being outside in the 97 degree heat
Things I failed to do:
* Put those important paperworks in the folder I bought
* Give my sitD some love.
Today was one of the absolute most boring days at work of all time. I walked in with twenty to depart, nine to arrive. The departure list revealed that almost half of the departures were with the West Houston Chinese Church [which is having a retreat here in Victoria] and were not leaving, so that narrowed the list down quite a bit in the first twenty minutes I was at work. Few departures = little for Ashley to do. I answered a lot of questions and made a lot of copies, and stood around. I haaaaate days like that. And no one would talk to me. It was lame. Tomorrow will be better because they're all checking out and Debora will be there to keep me company.
I have an ominous feeling that this restaffing they're taking about will happen in the the next week or so, or maybe after next weekend [which will also be busy]. Chia-Huy's been here since Friday and is leaving tomorrow--I think she's here to view their performance under pretense of being here with the retreat. I'm at the point of not caring at all, really. Nope. I should be looking for another job, but I'm too damn lazy.
I'm so lazy, I'm not going to finish this entry.
The Rat
I'm lazy all the time, that's why the entries in my head never get written.
