sh-sh-shaaaa

Word of the Day: ziggurat Patrick is finally starting to stay awake for longer periods of time [meaning a couple of hours at a time about twice during the day]. That's good, I suppose, until he wakes up at midnight wide awake and wanting me to play with him. Gah. I tell him that night is for sleep, which I know he does all day long, but he has to learn to do that all night long, too. But he's already, at not even three weeks, on his stomach and [when he's mad] can lift up his head and almost flip himself over. Aw, it's so cute when he's mad. His face gets all screwed up and his cheeks get all red and he looks confused. My dear little one, he's doing so well. So for some reason, JD and I seem to be getting ready to move out and not live with his mother. You know, next year or later. In the past couple of days, we bought a glass set, two plate sets [two of the same kind because one box wasn't sufficient, wethinks], and a flatware set. We already have our eyes on a set of pots and more drinkware, barware, and various and sundry kitchen utensils. We're going to have the freakin coolest kitchen in the barrio. We're going to make a list of sorts of what we need and gradually acquire our new home piece by piece so that when we do move out, we won't be completely screwed and have to buy everything all at once. I thought it was a good idea. I just like to look at kitchenware and furniture and housestuff in general. When I went to pick up my check on Friday [damn, which I forgot to deposit today...now that I think of it, I don't know where my check is], Ana was all like, 'And what about we lost our flag?' Yeah. That sucks. So now I have to figure out what's going on, if I have a job to go back to. I was planning on calling Jeff today and talking to him about when [or if] I'm going back and getting the story on what the hell's going on at the hotel, but I got caught up with baby laundry and playing with Patrick. Crap. I just realized how hard it's going to be for me to find another job. Although, I kind of don't mind being a stay-at-home mom, not yet, at least. suchislife Oh yeah, I almost forgot--I got new shooooooooooooooes. I'm so effing excited about my shoes, it's almost unbelievable. They're light blue and white argyle with yellow detail. They're highly emo. Maybe, one day, I'll wear one of my emo outfits [or so says JD, I just think it's funny] and make JD take a picture. This outfit includes the jacket I bought in, what, September or October because I loved it so so much. Mmmmmmm, red herringbone blazer and blue argyle shoes. It's so funny.
