Word of the Day: see below
Answer to the question--Probably so.
I made a reservation today for some reporter guy from New York City from CBS. Of course, I don't think he'll be coming due to the manditory evacuations of the county and the hotel shutting it's doors to guests and employees tomorrow at 1 in the afternoon. Thank goodness for Jeff--he would've had to have stayed to run the place if the hotel stayed open.
We're going to Uncle Dale's in Austin until they let us come back. On my way to pick up Patrick, I nearly started crying as I saw the lines at the gas stations and the traffic.

I found this on weather.com on our hurricane local statement--
ALL RESIDENTS OF THE MIDDLE TEXAS COAST SHOULD BE IN THE PROCESS OF COMPLETING THEIR PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. [bold is my own add]
As if I'm not scared and freaked out enough, thank you, weather.com.
oh well, either way, I'm so glad you're getting out of there.
Love you Ash, keep usposted as much as you can.
